- Listing: Shopify; Free; 3.7 from 860 reviews (409 × 5★, 105 × 4★, 113 × 3★, 71 × 2★, 162 × 1★); launched 31 Jan 2024; category Subscriptions; works with Checkout, Customer accounts, Shopify POS, Shopify Admin. Built for Shopify badge not seen in fetched text — not mentioned in review.
- Listing features: auto-billed weekly/monthly/yearly with discounts; customer cancel/skip/pause; customizable email templates; reporting; transfer existing contracts; POS selling. Pricing options: subscribe and save, fixed pricing, custom pricing.
- Help Center (overview): multiple plans per product or one plan across products; dollar, percentage, fixed-amount discounts; modify/skip/pause/cancel contracts; widget on product, cart, thank you pages; email notifications; analytics; import/export; customer self-service; POS.
- Help Center (considerations): channels online store, POS, Shop, custom storefronts; themes with sections and blocks (Shopify OS 2.0, Horizon, Debut 15.0+, Brooklyn 17.0+); gateways Shopify Payments, PayPal Express (third-party fees without Shopify Payments), Authorize.net, Adyen (limited), Stripe (select merchants); card auto-updates with Shopify Payments only; billed day after due at 10:00 store time; draft orders and order edits API unsupported; bundles not compatible.

- Reviews (newest pages, 1★ and 2–3★ filters): praise for easy setup/management and automation; complaints — can’t move billing date, want single charge date, product swaps, minimum orders before cancellation, variant change switching to subscription, toggle widget keeping subscription on one-time, cart “selling plan” error, widget not embedding, customer login trouble, export lacking emails, unhelpful support. Many recent 1★ have no text.
Claim boundaries
- Not tested: subscription checkout, renewals, failed payments, customer portal from the customer side, notifications, contract import, Contracts/Settings screens, POS, support.
- Widget placement below image: observed in 08; cause (app embed vs block) not established; review states docs guidance without asserting cause.
- Setup guide 3/6 includes “Import existing contracts” ticked; we did not see an import, so the review does not attribute that step.
- Link from “Turn on subscription management” to the editor inferred from capture order.
- One review’s “can’t pause” complaint conflicts with docs; not used.
Open questions for reviewer
- Confirm testing level and whether the widget was added as a block or via App embeds.
- Was “Import existing contracts” actually run?
- Was any in-app billing screen visible?
